CNC Steel Plasma Cutting Service
Reliable Welding can cut up to 3” thick of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum. Our plasma cutter is computer controlled, which results in industry-grade cuts. Our cutting tolerance can be close to +/- .005″ for certain materials and we can process sizes up to 8ft x 24ft.
Plasma is gas that is superheated, to the point where it transforms into the fourth state of matter. Passed through electric current and ionized it becomes electrically conductive, allowing it to bond to the metal piece that is being cut. The narrow plasma cutting stream, with near laser-like precision, provides tight tolerances to allow for fine interior details. It provides a fast, and cost-effective way for metal processing.

Bevel Cutting
Traditionally, bevel cutting required significant preparation for welding. With the introduction of the CNC plasma cutter, this process now makes up for the bulk of modern steel cutting operations. Fabrication of dimensionally complex pieces, are now more feasible, and in a replicable manner.
Hole Cutting
In addition to being able to cut long-runs, a trained plasma operator can cut perfect holes in steel material. We can cut your designs within very high-tolerances and to specification. There are specific minimum diameters than can be cut due to the nature of the plasma arc, and our team can consult with you on the best approach with your designs.
Plasma Etching
In addition to plasma cutting, Reliable Welding also offers plasma etching. This process can provide fold markings, part numbers, and weld lines. These markings, in turn, reduce fabrication times by providing accurate instructions for your operators.
