Providing Excellence in Steel Fabrication

Reliable Welding is a fully established 5-acre welding facility in Nisku, Alberta that services Edmonton, Calgary, and can supply all of Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and the rest of Canada with fabricated steel materials. The enterprising company founders, Rick Morawski and Rudy Gruger, began their partnership erecting metal buildings, transitioning to welding and operating construction equipment. Through these humble beginnings, they absorbed key knowledge from the many steel fabrication and welding projects they worked on. In the early years of Reliable Welding, a draftsperson wasn’t available for every project. Still, they always found a way to fulfill their customers requirements. One such project was to build an entire trolley system on a 45-foot trailer that could unspool and form a custom-liner used in sewer line remediation. It was a complex arrangement, but they worked through the problems and delivered a custom solution that is working to this day. While the industry has advanced in the decades since they started in 1978, they continue to bring the same level of care and commitment to each project. Rick and Rudy, remain active in operations, bringing their knowledge and can-do attitude to Reliable on a daily basis. Additionally, Reliable Welding is proud to have staff members who possess decades of experience in metal processing, steel fabrication, welding and design.

As pioneers and contributors to Alberta’s welding community, we’ve been part of significant changes within the industry. In 1998, we were among the first in our local industry to become CWB Certified and it has helped bring up our standards to compete in the world market.

While staying ahead of the curve continues to be important, we put emphasis on ensuring that we maintain the standards we’ve already established. To this end, setting and maintaining high-standards in steel fabrication has not only resulted in an improved product; we’ve increased the quality of our team.

Our primary satisfaction has come from watching the growth and accomplishments of team members throughout their careers. Surprisingly, we are proud to say that even some of our current partners and competitors started out at Reliable Welding.

Highlights

Piling Projects: Reliable Welding is a supplier of helical piles in Canada. We have traceability on all piles created and endeavour to ensure that all deliveries are on time.
Mining and Oilfield Equipment Projects: We have been manufacturing a diverse line of custom-designed projects for clients – from dewatering equipment for the mining industry to drilling rigs for the oil patch.
Structural Steel Fabrication Projects – We have completed numerous commercial and industrial buildings. We are also experienced with structural steel rolling. As part of our service offering, you can get assistance with onsite custom fitting.
Plasma Cutting Projects – We can accommodate custom CNC designs up to 3-inches thick. Aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel, all can be cut on our 8ft x 24ft plasma table. Our in-house engineer and drafts people are here to help you design your product. If you can draw it, we can cut it.
Field Services Projects – From small repairs, site installations, site modifications, to onsite construction, we can play a role on your project.
Local Charity – we support a number of local charities including the Leduc Food Bank and Little Warriors.
